Last Thursday I traveled to Philadelphia to speak at the Free Library on the release of "Galbraith : The Affluent Society and Other Writings, 1952- 1967" by the Library of America. This is a wonderful collection of four
books : American Capitalism, The Great Crash, The Affluent Society and The New Industrial State, in a single volume.

In addition, my lecture to the Federico Caffé Society in Rome on November 15 and a talk to a post-election conference sponsored by the ADA Education Fund at the Kennedy School at Harvard on November 20 will be posted shortly to the UTIP site : http://utip.gov.utexas.edu

The Caffé Society lecture was entitled, "The Great Crisis, the Keynesian Rising and the Great Neo-Liberal Counterattack : A Study in the Power of the Predator State."
